This large-scale educational project provides 25,000 sq m of new accommodation for the College and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). The facilities each have their own identity within an overall coherent and integrated campus design. The aspiration was to deliver a contemporary piece of architecture that responds appropriately to the College and community needs.
A wide range of facilities are provided including general teaching space, labs, sports hall and pitches, workshops, auditoria, learning resource centre's and a refectory.
The project was a winner of the North West Regional LABC Building Excellence Award.
