Construction Value: £8 million

Following the preparation of a strategic masterplan and a successful LSC Grant, Bury College retained DLA for the detailed design and implementation of the scheme. The project included the creation of the £5.7 million state-of-the-art Beacon Centre which provides a new theatre, dance studios, refectory, performance spaces, classrooms and IT facilities. Alongside this new build element, DLA were also responsible for the substantial refurbishment of existing buildings on site, the provision of a Child Health and Social Care teaching facility and the creation of a 50 place nursery.
