Occupying a prime town centre location, the new St Paul's Centre at Blackburn College provides facilities for both the Sixth Form and Computing department. The 5,200 sqms of accommodation includes fully equipped flexible classrooms, high specification IT laboratories, biology, physics and chemistry laboratories, extensive staff facilities, lecture theatres, student social rooms, a faith room, public cafe and high quality landscaped external areas.

Split visually into two distinct blocks, the building provides definition for the Sixth Form Centre and Computing Centre elements of the scheme with the use of contrasting materials. The computing centre is covered by a translucent cladding system whilst the sixth form centre uses a rich red brick with matching mortar to emphasise the strong building lines.
