We are at the beginning of a major shift in the way in which the housing and support needs of older people are delivered. As a rapidly emerging sector we have utilised our expertise in the US market to assist the joint venture partnership between The HICA Group and Caddick Developments in understanding the model they wish to develop in the UK. This included 'fact finding' trips to the US to inspect projects designed by DLA FreemanWhite. As part of this process we have prepared numerous masterplan feasibility studies to demonstrate capacity, functionality and viability of potential development sites. Further complemented by developing various dwelling types incorporating the sixteen design principles of Lifetime Homes.
