Swillington Health Practice is being developed jointly by Grange Medicare Ltd. along with Leeds Primary Care Trust, in the centre of the village adjacent to the church. The premises are to be located in the existing church hall, which will be extended on two levels to accommodate a small surgery and meeting facility. The design of the clinic is sensitive due to its location close to the church, and to the local primary school which is also being rebuilt as part of a larger development programme.
