Kingsway Business Park is a flagship development for the Rochdale area, adjacent to junction 21 of the M62 motorway and also with access from the A664 Kingsway.
The proposals allow for over 321.2 acres (130.0 Ha.) of land for mixed development, with over 74 acres (30 Ha.) set aside for an ecology park along the line of an existing watercourse - Stanney Brook.
DLA have been involved for over ten years with the preparation of the initial masterplan proposals; the submission of planning applications and negotiation of planning permissions (including judicial review processes) and the preparation of a Development Framework document. DLA have assisted with complex CPO and Road Closure procedures, the implementation of infrastructure, structural landscape, and most recently the first phase of development.
