After 12 years of work at DLA, Trinity Walk in Wakefield, opened to the public on 5th May 2011.

 

Trinity Walk is the first new shopping centre to open since the economic downturn took hold, and was almost fully let at the time of opening.  A wide range of retailers including Sainsbury's, Debenhams, Next, Top Shop, New Look, and Pizza Express are represented, which is set to take its place alongside other local Yorkshire Shopping Centres, such as Meadowhall and White Rose.

 

Over the years, the Trinity Walk scheme has seen numerous setbacks as recession set in; it has however emerged successfully and has reached completion after a tremendous team effort to deliver a challenging project in what was ultimately a very tight timescale.
