The new United Reformed Church in Bury, Greater Manchester, is located on a key gateway route into the town and only a short stroll from the main shopping thoroughfare. Designed to provide a range of contemporary facilities, including main Worship Hall and much needed community space for meetings and classes, the building is a prominent addition to the Bury skyline.

With flexibility very much in mind the building, located on a tight sloping site, covers 2 floors which can operate in isolation depending upon the need. Echoing the philosophy of the Church, the overall concept is simple and restrained, with glazing used to create a feeling of openness and inclusion.
