Location: Salford

DLA was one of 75 international practices who entered this RIBA / Urban Splash competition to design a 'sustainable community' located on the banks of the River Irwell in Salford. All entries were praised for their creativity and diversity with DLA's submission focusing on the use of innovative recycling methods and the harnessing of both solar and wind power.
