The Redevelopment of an existing NCP car park located within former industrial buildings on the junction of Fetter Lane and Skeldergate, York. The scheme extends to the vast majority of the urban block and therefore responds in a very sensitive manner to its immediate neighbours in addition to the historic context of the city walls and the River Ouse corridor. The scheme was designed to create a contemporary interpretation of the traditional local built form and recreate the former historic streetscape prior to the industrial buildings being erected. The scheme combines 150 luxury apartments and affordable units with basement car parking and extensive landscaped amenity.
