This regeneration scheme is set to transform the City of Wakefield by improving retail provision and dramatically enhancing the general amenity of the centre. The scheme works to fit seamlessly into the existing City framework and connect the centre with its new retail quarter.
Trinity Walk opened to the public in May 2011. The new Debenhams department store, a re-located Sainsbury's superstore and an excellent representation of national and local retailers have been well received, as one of a very small number of project completions in recessionary times.
