DLA were appointed in November 2008 to carry out a detailed Feasibility study of the Odsal site with the objective of providing a new Sports Village in South Bradford.

The project will provide a high quality multi-sport complex to meet the sporting needs of the district, and the region, which will be an integral component of economic regeneration, and act as a key point deliverer of education and skills.

Working with Bradford City Council, Bradford University, Yorkshire Forward and Bradford College, the Sporting Village will be at the southern 'gateway' into the city and offer high quality leisure, and sporting opportunities for local people, as well as a new stadium for Bradford Bulls RLFC, a multi-purpose sports Hall and secondary hall, outdoor pitches, and fitness centre. It will create a focal point for sports and community activity, which will leave the whole region with an economic and educational legacy.
