Location: Monks Cross, York

The 6,000 all-seated capacity York Community Stadium will become the new home of York City Football Club, and York Knights Rugby League Club.

The new stadium will be part of a high quality retail development at Monks Cross near York, on the site of the existing Huntington Stadium. It will provide Restaurant and function spaces for over 400 spectators, executive boxes, and a new club retail shop.

New community facilities will be built alongside the stadium which will provide a new Library, Resource Centre, Creche, and a new Community Square and Park area, which will provide wildlife corridors with landscaped features for nature conservation.
