DLA Architecture submitted a planning application for this comprehensive regeneration project in Woolwich that has now been validated. Legal & General appointed DLA, in collaboration with Fathom Architects, to develop a high-quality design for one of its largest national Build-to-Rent projects. Located opposite the new Crossrail station, MacBean Street is a residential-led BTR scheme that creates 642 high quality new homes.
As a major mixed-use scheme, MacBean provides new homes, retail units, amenity spaces, and new flexible commercial space catering for local businesses. Improved public realm creates a sequence of public spaces that allows new pedestrian routes between Powis Street, MacBean Street and Beresford Street knitting into the urban fabric of the town centre.
