Job Role: Associate Architect
About: Matthew specialises in higher education and cultural heritage projects and has extensive experience in both new-build and adaptive reuse. Prior to joining DLA Matthew worked for ten years at Levitt Bernstein, and was a senior member of their UCL Framework team. As an all-rounder, he has led projects at all stages, from feasibility to completion, for a wide variety of clients. In the HE sector is has acted as team leader on student accommodation, academic offices, social learning spaces, and research laboratories. In the cultural and heritage sectors he has experience on theatres, music venues, museums and art galleries across the UK. Alongside practice Matthew is a doctoral researcher at UCL, and is also working toward accreditation as a conservation architect.
