Job Role: Architect
As an Architect, Raphaëlle has extensive experience working with high profile clients in Europe on new build and refurbishment projects from early design to completion stages. Her experience encompasses Commercial, Residential and Community projects.
Raphaëlle joins DLA after 4 and a half years at Khon Pederson Fox where she worked, among other things, on an extensive refurbishment of a 40.000 sqm office building in Paris, from conception to delivery. In the 7 years of her architectural career, she has developed a keen eye for design details and materiality and always values a close collaboration with the client, the design team, the contractors and artisans.
Outside of work, she loves experimenting with craft projects using various type of materials from clay and concrete to metal and fabric. When she is not playing with materials she will be spending her time running, dancing or travelling.
Favourite Design / Building:
Raphaëlle highlights 2 buildings really moved her: The Louisiana Museum in Copenhagen with such a subtle and balanced design that embrace the striking landscape; and The Yves St Laurent Museum in Marrakech for combining beautifully traditional Mediterranean materials and contemporary architecture.
